Ossian Conservation Club at Wildcat Days Aug. 27-29
Members of the Ossian Conservation Club will be at Markle Wildcat Festival Aug. 27-29 selling old style sugar corn. They will also will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a chainsaw carved Bear by Sid King. Proceeds will go to the new furnace and siding fund. Markle Townwide Garage Sales Aug. 28
The Markle Area Champber of Commerce will sponsor the Wildcat Festival townwide community garage sale Saturday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration forms can be picked up at Tender Gardens, MarkleBank, Markle Library and Markle Town Hall. Completed forms need to be returned to Teresa Beck at Tender Gardens Flower Shop at 134 E. Morse Street no later than Friday, Aug. 20. A list of registered garage sales and maps will be available starting Wednesday, Aug. 25.
