Monarch Butterfly Workshop

The Wells County Purdue Extension Office will present Metamorphosis in Your Own Backyard. This one-hour workshop features a description of the lifecycle of the monarch butterfly, butterfly facts and myths and information on how to attract butterflies to your yard. Monarch butterfly eggs, caterpillars in varying stages and butterflies will be available to view. Participants will be able to take home their own monarch egg or caterpillar to raise and release (while supplies last). This program is appropriate for all ages. Workshop will be offered on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Wells County Community Center at the 4-H Park.
