Arts Place is currently accepting registrations for fall MusicWorks lessons for students and adults to be held in Blackford County. Registration brochures are available at Arts Place, 131 East Walnut Street in Portland, and community locations in Blackford County. Individual lessons begin Aug. 30 and continue through May 6, 2011. A Group Piano Lab is offered for second grade students at Southside Elementary School. All classes meet weekly.
Registrations will be accepted at any time throughout the year. Students who register by Aug. 20, 2010 will receive priority consideration.
After that date, students will be accepted on a space-available basis. Scholarships are available based on financial need.
