On the following Saturday evenings the Allen County Public Library’s main library plaza will be the site of free Rock the Plaza concerts. The music begins at 6 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m.
Aug. 7—Dave Todoran & the Mobile Home Wreckers, Rockefeller Four and Loose Change.
Aug. 14—The Revisitors, KT3 and Dive Kings.
Aug. 21—Wailhounds, The B-Sharps and Steve Squires Band.
Aug. 28—The Rewinders, Ben Gronau, 1947 California Cupcake Company and Martin Brothers Blues Band.
In the Jeffrey R. Krull Gallery the Ventures in Creativity exhibit by the Fort Wayne Artists Guild will be viewable through Aug. 21. This is an annual exhibit with a variety of media, subject matter and technique from regional artists.
Another free music program will be presented on Thursday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. in the inside Theater featuring Jane Heald, cello, and Eric Clancy, piano. Heald is with the FW Philharmonic and Clancy is a local jazz pianist.
