Walking exercise held at Ossian UM Church
Ossian United Methodist Church will be open for walking exercise from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Public is welcome.

Deadline Nov. 2 for quarterly senior
citizens’ dinner
New Hope Lutheran Church, on the south edge of Ossian, will again host its quarterly Senior Citizens’ Dinner (for anyone in the community age 55 or better) on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 11:30 a.m. Join us for a fun time, a hot meal, a sing-a-long with Ed Higgins, and entertainment by the Vaudeville comedy team of Bower-Nedberg, A free will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the meal. Make reservation by calling the church office at 622-7954 by Monday, Nov. 2.

Open the Doors to Science Nov. 6
On Friday, Nov. 6 Science Central will offer “Open the Doors to Science” from 6:30 to 10 p.m. The event is designed to showcase the past, present and future of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and its impact in the Northeast Indiana region. Cost is $100 per person with proceeds benefiting Science Central and their programs.

Holiday Craft Bazaar Nov. 7 at Blackford
The Blackford County Extension Homemakers will sponsor their annual Holiday Craft Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Blackford County 4-H Building in Hartford City.
