Meadowvale Car Show planned
Meadowvale Health and Rehabilitation is planning a car show to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. It will be held on October 10th, 8 a.m. Noon is registration, 3 p.m. awards will be given. $10 per car entry. There will be entertainment and food on site. CAC Ballet Guild Meeting Oct. 5
The Ballet Guild will have a meeting Monday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

The Continentals to perform Oct. 6 at Pleasant Dale
The Continentals will perform at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, located at 4504W., 300N, Decatur Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.

Luncheon Oct. 19
Send your favorite recipe to the Parks and Recreation officer at 128 E Market the week of October 5. Then prepare your dish and bring it to the First United Methodist Church on Oct 19 for everyone to sample. Each participant will get a copy of all the recipes used that day. FREE EVENT. Christian offers Healing Services
Oct. 25-28
Do you hurt physically? Did you receive a bad report from the doctor? You are invited to come and allow us to pray with you and believe God for your healing.

South Adams Senior trip to Bearcreek Oct. 8
The South Adams Senior Center will sponsor a Bearcreek Farms Day Thursday, Oct. 8. Cost is $20 per person and includes a family style meal, dessert, drink, tax and a 2 p.m. showing of the Van Dels (50's and 60's music). The tip is not included. Those attending should meet at Bearcreek Farms at noon for seating. Lunche will be served at 12:30 p.m. To sign up call 260-589-8877. Reservations and payment is due at the Senior Center by Monday, Oct. 5.

Judi Merkel to inspire mothers at Moms’ Morning Out Oct. 8
Ways to a Better Life . . . and a Better You !! will be Judi Merkel’s topic for the Thursday, Oct. 8 Moms’ Morning Out. Judi will share what you can do if you are ready to kick your life up a notch, in order to improve the quality of your life, plus your outlook on life.
Judi Merkel, former Purdue Extension Educator, has been working with families for many years so understands how overwhelmed and inadequate mothers can feel. Therefore, she will give mothers refreshing ideas about how to renew themselves. All mothers of infants and children age five and under are invited to attend this week or any weekly meeting of Moms’ Morning Out. They are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 1935 North Main Street in Bluffton, behind Walgreen’s. Mothers can enter at north door with the YMCA sign. Moms’ Morning Out is sponsored by the YMCA. There is no charge and no registration. Toddler and preschoolers through age five are invited to enjoy organized play.

Craft Bazaar Oct. 10
Community Christian Fellowship will sponsor a craft bazaar Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Park in Bluffton. Admission is free. There will be a bake sale, apple and peach dumplings, breakfast and lunch available. Vendors interested in participating should call 260-824-3903 for more information.

Hartford City
The 20th annual Civil War Days will be held Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 in Hartford City. Hours are Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $4 for those ages 12 and younger, $5 for those ages 13 to 60 and $4 for those age 61 and older. A Renaissance in
Roanoke Oct. 10
A Renaissance in Roanoke will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown on Main Street. There will be original art for sale by local and regional artists, Watch Plein Air Painters from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; live music, food , entertainment and a Farmer's Market from 1 to 5 p.m.
