A Benefit for Saige Lambert, 4 years old, will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Sportsman Club at 815 E. 3rd Street, Warren.
There will be a hog roast, a Silent Auction at noon and a Texas Hold 'em Tourney at 2 p.m. with a $40 Donation.
Saige has been diagnosed with A-L-L Leukemia. She is the daughter of Greg and Jamie (Crow) Lambert. Call 260-341-3042.

shopping trip
deadline extended
A Chicago Shopping Trip is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.
A chartered, restroom equiped, bus will be leaving the South Adams Senior Center Parking Lot at 6 a.m., loading at 5:45 a.m., with a return of 10 p.m.. This trip is open to all area counties and any age 15 years and above. Any person 15-18 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under the age 15 is not permitted to attend.
The bus will drop people off at the Watertower Place, to shop at any of the other stores and shops on Chicago's Magnificient Mile. For persons wanting to get on the bus in Decatur, a stop is scheduled at 6:15 a.m. at the Scott's Parking lot.
A non-refundable charge of $40 is the cost. We need 56 persons to charter the bus, if we do not get enough people, the trip will be cancelled and we will refund your money. But if we go, no refunds will be given.
Bring snacks along to eat on the bus, but no glass containers are permitted. Meals in Chicago are your responsiblity. Reservations and payment must be made at the South Adams Senior Center by Wednesday, Oct. 28. Please call 260-589-8877 to sign up .
You may mail your payment and reservations to the center at 825 Hendricks St, Berne, IN 46711 making sure they arrive by Oct. 28.

Indiana Book, Paper and Postcard Show Nov. 1
The Indiana Book, Paper and Postcard Show will be held Nov. 1 at Beech Grove High Schoo at 5550 Hornet Ave. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults. Children under age 12 are free.
Dealers from several area states will exhibit for sale Antiquarian and Collectible books, maps, postcards, sheet music, prints and more.
