Redkey’s Key Palace Theatre has announced the entertainment for its 19th season. All programs begin at 8 p.m. with most of them to be held on Saturdays.
The schedule includes:
Oct. 3—Anthony Gomes & Biscuit Miller Reunion. $22
Oct. 10—Chicago Rhythm & Blues King. (Legendary blues act.) $15
Oct. 17—Bill Lupton & Chicago Connection. (One of the best harp players.) $15
Oct. 24—Todd Allen Herendeen. (Tributes to Johnny Cash, Rob Orbison, Neil Diamond and Elvis.) $15
Oct. 31—Howard & the White Boys. (Rocking blues.) $15
Nov. 7—Blooze Faktor. (Local legends.) $15
Nov. 14—Big Bill Morganfield. (Great singer and slide player.) $15
Nov. 21—Stacy Mitchhart. (Blues with big horn section.) $20
Nov. 25 (Wednesday)—Duke Tumatoe. (Blues guitar player.) $15
Dec. 5—Mississippi Heat. (Blues and featuring Carol Weatherly.) $15
Dec. 12—II Juicy. (Juicy and her awesome band.) $15
Noted by the Key’s Charlie is that road construction will need for attenders coming south on St. Rd. 1 to make a detour to reach the theatre until the project is completed on Nov. 1. At St. Rd. 67 turn left then right at Spencer St. to South Meridian St. (St. Rd. 1). The Key Palace is just north of where Spencer meets Meridian.
