What's Up October?


Voices of Power Port-a-Pit Chicken Fundraiser Oct. 17
Voices of Power will sponsor a Port-a-Pit Chicken Fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at WalMart parking lot in Bluffton. Tickets are $6 for the chicken and $1.50 for added baked potatoe.
Call any Voices of Power member.

Spooktacular Oct. 17
Spooktacular Car, Truck, Bike Show, Oct. 17, Glenbook Square Mall, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Registration 8 a.m. to noon. Awards, 4 p.m. Best Dressed Costume Contests (adult and child), Best Decorated vehicle, Kids Trick or Treat at the vehicles! Info: 260-622-6820.

Laity and Pastor Appreciation Day Oct. 18
Members and friends of Epworth United Methodist Church will celebrate Laity and Pastor Appreciation Day Sunday, Oct. 18 at 9:30 a.m.
Members of the laity will share witness of their faith in testimonies and special music.
A special time of appreciation for Pastor Dick and Dee Frederick will be observed.
New members will also be received during the service.
Lay Leader Tony Garton will lead the special day.
A carry in dinner and time of fellowship will follow the morning worship. Sunday school classes will not meet this Sunday.

Dan's Fish/Chicken Supper Oct. 20
Dan's Fish/Chicken Supper will be held at Sonlight Wesleyan Church at 2350S., State Road 1, Bluffton, Oct. 20 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children, age six through 12 and free for children age five and younger. Proceeds will go to Missions. Tickets available at the door or by calling the church at 824-0068.
