Democrat Port-a-Pit chicken sale April 26
The Wells County Democratic Party will sponsor a Nelson's Port-a-Pit Chicken Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Villa North Mall on North Main Street.
Tickets are $5 for a half chicken and can be purchased by calling 824-4039. Extra chicken will be available. (Pd. Advt.)

Wesleyan Heritage enrolling students for 2009-2010
Wesleyan Heritage Academy, located at 410 W. Cherry St., Bluffton, is now accepting applications for the 2009-10 school year.
Wesleyan Heritage Academy is a ministry of The Bluffton Wesleyan Chapel. The Academy utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education program, and is a Model School within this International program. WHA offers an Accredited diploma through its dual enrollment program.

Boys & Girls Club fundraiser April 23 at Taco Bell
Members of the Wells Community Boys and Girls Club will participate in a fundraiser at Taco Bell in Bluffton Thursday, April 23.
Taco Bell restaurants across the U.S. will donate 15 percent of their gross sales Thursday, April 23, 2009 to the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens.
The one day fundraiser is part of a $5 million annual giving goal that will fund Boys and Girls Clubs of America's national Keystone program. For more information log onto: www.tacobellgraduation.com.

Community
Support Work Day April 23
Members of the Wells County Extension Homemakers will host their Spring Volunteer Community Support Work Day Thursday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the meeting room in the Wells Community 4-H Building. Those attending do not have to be sewers. They just have to bring their best cutting scissors. Those attending do not have to be members of the club.
There will be a carry-in lunch. Volunteers are asked to bring a dish to share.

Robot Junction April 23 at Science Central
Robot Junction, Science Central's newest permanent exhibit, will feature control panels that allow visitors to maneuver robotic arms in an attempt to accomplish simple tasks.
A Ribbon Cutting will take place Thursday, April 23 at 9:30 a.m.
