Fireproof to be shown April 4 at McNatt UMC
McNatt United Methodist Church will show the film “Fireproof” Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m. Come early for the potato bar at 6 p.m.
The church is located at 9271W-800S in Jackson Twp.

Farm Bureau District Meeting Deadline April 5
The Farm Bureau District Spring meeting will take place at the Berne pavillion in Adams County on April 14. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a special speaker to follow. All members are encouraged to attend. Reservations must be made by April 5.

Seniors Lunch at Salamonie April 6
Individuals age 50 or older are invited to the April 6 Senior Lunch at Salamonie Interpretive Center to learn about healthy restaurant eating. The program will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a meal. The meat dish will be provided. Those attending should bring a dish to share, their own table service and $1 donation to help defray the cost of the meat.
Teresa Witkoske, Extension Educator, Purdue Consumer and Family Science for Wabash and Grant Counties will share tips for making good eating choices while dining out.

Covenant Christian fundraiser April 7
Wendy's Restaurant will hosting a fundraiser night for the Bluffton Covenant Christian School Tuesday, April 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. Eat in or drive-thru and the school will receive 10 percent of the profits to help with school expenses.

From Upper Room to Calvary planned April 9
Living Water United Methodist Church will present From the Upper Room to Calvary, a special “Service of Song, Scripture and Communion,” Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m.
During the worship service those attending will meditate together and share in a memorial of Christ's last hours. Several “Moments of Scripture” from the Last Supper to the Garden, the Betrayal and Arrest, and Pilate's sentence of death, will recount the key events of Jesus' final moments before his Crucifixion. The service will finish with a celebration of the Lord's Supper. The church is located 1/2 mile south of State Road 218 on 700E in Wells County.

Holy Week services at Trinity April 9 & 10
Members of the Fort Wayne Ballet will perform in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Holy Week services, located at 611 West Berry, Fort Wayne.
Dancers will be a part of the Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m. on April 9 and again at the Good Friday service at 7 p.m. April 10.
The church will be open on Good Friday for Stations of the Cross at noon and private meditation from 1 to 3 p.m. The Great Vigil of Easter is scheduled for 8 p.m. on April 11 and Easter services will be at 7:30 and 10 a.m.
Trinity’s labyrinth will also be open to the public during the day on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday for personal meditation. Call 423-1693.
