Creative Arts Council Programs

IN THE BALENTINE GALLERY
Browse the cloth and thread works exhibit “Fabric of Faith” through April 15. Group tours or weekend visits may be arranged.
Next exhibit will be the Tri Kappa High School Art Show and Annual Children’s Art Exhibit, April 18-May 8. SCHOOL OF BALLET
Classes in session. Mark the family calendar for the students’ stage production “Gala Performance” to be on Sunday, May 17, free admission. Rehearsals on Saturdays will be scheduled by teachers.

TAYLOR UNIVERSITY CONCERT CHORALE—Sunday, April 26, 3 p.m., Life Center Auditorium, no admission charge.
BENEFIT AUCTION—Friday, May 1, 5 p.m. preview; 6 p.m. dinner; gavel auction, 7 p.m., $30 per guest. Reservations needed.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
ADULT ACTING CLASS—Come refine your acting skills and prepare for spring/summer auditions with instructor Stephanie Young. Sessions are from 7 to 8 p.m. for six Mondays, April 13-May 18, $50. Strengthen stage skills for auditions and roles.
RHAPSODY, RHYTHM & RHYME—developmental music for toddlers and their adults with Cindy Lemmen, now in session. New session begins April 13 through June 1, Mondays from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
PAINTING WORKSHOP—Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Create an oil painting of a hummingbird with Kathy McClanahan. Cost $55, includes all supplies.
