Happy April Fool's Day! (But this list is no joke)

Computer tech help through April 14
Austin the geek! He is the computer tech every Tuesday for those ages six through nine from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club at 1410 Wayne Street, Bluffton.Call 824-1570.

Fish, tenderloin
slated for April 3
The South West Conservation Club, located at 5703 Bluffton Road, will sponsor a fish and tenderloin supper April 3 and April 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Call 260-747-4677.

Zanesville Easter Egg Hunt April 4
Zanesville Lions Club free Easter Egg Hunt, for children age 0-14, will be held rain or shine at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Zanesville Lions Community Park. Following the hunt, there will be kids' games inside the building. Tickets cost 25 cents each with a prize every time. Call 638-4327.

Easter Egg Hunt April 4
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4 at 4 p.m. sharp.
Meet at the Roush Park boy's concession stand with your own basket to put the eggs in. Children will be divided into age groups (18 mos- 3 yrs, 4 & 5 yrs, 6-8 yrs, 9-11 yrs) for the hunt. This event is free.

Tri Kappa's Game and Trivia Night is April 4
Tri Kappa will host a Game and Trivia night Saturday, April 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Camelot in Vera Cruz. The location is being donated by owners Don and Mary Ann Bricker.
Join friends for an evening of Wii, cards and trivia. All-you-can-eat appetizers and cash bar will be provided. Door prizes will be awarded and a silent auction of donated items will be available. Tickets are $10 per person from a committee member or by calling Jackie Chaney at 824-5277 or Patty Makowski at 273-0359. Proceeds go to funding for charity, culture and educational needs in the community.

Health fair at Asbury will be held April 4
Three churches will sponsor a health fair Saturday morning, April 4, in southern Wells County.
The Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church, 8013W-1100S-90, Montpelier, will host the event from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Also sponsoring the health fair are the Dillman United Brethren Church and the McNatt United Methodist Church.
Those attending can receive free height and weight checks, blood pressure checks, body mass index checks, and blood sugar checks (for those who have fasted). Free fecal occult blood testing will also be available.
Other tests will also be available for a fee. Free information on a number of health issues will also be available. Participating organizations include Heritage Pointe, Bluffton Regional Medical Center, Blackford Community Hospital, Marion General Hospital, Northeast Indiana Hospice, the Panos Free Clinic, and the Hester Hollis Center.

Mother Son Dance April 5
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation will sponsor the Mother Son Dance Sunday, April 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wells County Community Building. Tickets are still available at the City Clerk Treasurer's Office. Cost is $10 a couple and $3 for each additional child. Escorts may be the child's mother or other significant parental figure. Games, meal, photos, treat bags, music and door prizes. 2009 Theme "Pirate" Make sure to come dressed like a pirate or be prepared to walk the plank!

Special Needs Pirate Dance April 5
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation will sponsor a Special Needs Pirate Dance Sunday, April 5 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Building.
Friends and family will enjoy a swash buckling good time of dancing, refreshments and photos. Cost is $1 per person. Dress for the evening is theme based.
Ticket can be purchased in the City Clerk/Treasurer's office at 128 East Market Street. This event is co-sponsored with the 4-H.)
