Open Car and Truck Show April 25
Living Faith Missionary Church youth will sponsor their 7th annual Car and Truck Show Saturday, April 25 beginning at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded at 2:30 p.m.
The church is located at 17718 State Road 1, north of Ossian. Proceeds will go toward CDYC (youth conference at Indiana Wesleyan in Muncie.) Sausage gravy and biscuits, donuts, cinnamon rolls, fruit and drinks will be for sale at breakfast. Lunche will include sloppy joes, hot dogs, chili dogs, nacho cheese chips and desserts.

Pancake, egg and sausage fundraiser April 25
Members of the Hope Missionary Disaster Relief Team will sponsor a pancake, egg and sausage fundraiser Saturday, April 25 from 6 to 10:30 a.m. at the church on East Dustman Road in Bluffton. All proceeds will go toward equipment and expenses.
The team travels to locations to assist in area struck by disasters caused by hurricanes, tornadoes or other tragedies. They not only bring relief from the damages caused by the storm, but they bring comfort and hope to families going through such an event.

Chicken noodle
dinner April 26
The Blackford County 4-H Fairboard will sponsor a chicken noodle dinner Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blackford County 4-H Building in Hartford City. The menu will include chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, roll and butter, green beans, dessert and beverage. Cost is $6.50 for adults (age 13 and older), $4 for those age three to 12 and free for those age two and younger. Call 765-348-3213.

April 26
Members of Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Rd, Fort Wayne, will sponsor a chicken dinner Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. The menu includes: baked chicken, baked potato, salad, carrots, and cake. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children under 10. Proceeds will support the repair cost of the new boiler. Psi Iota Xi flower
basket sale underway
The members of the Bluffton chapter of Psi Iota Xi are currently taking orders for spring hanging flower baskets. The baskets are designed by Janet's Garden Center and are available by pre-sale only. Choose from impatients basket for shade or mixed basket for sunny areas, they are $15 each. Pick up on May 2 from 8 am to 10:30 am at Janet's Garden Center.

Mother’s Day chicken Bar-B-Q May 10
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 16933 Thiele Rd., Fort Wayne, will sponsor their annual carry-out chicken Bar-B-Q on Sunday, May 10, with pick up from 11 a.m. to 12:30 at the Church gym. One-half chicken and baked potato will be $6. Order tickets at 260-565-3323 or 260-622-4526 by May 3.
