Steve McClung Exhibit at Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center July 5
The first artist to exhibit in a solo show at the Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center is Steve McClung of Portland.  Twenthy Shades of McClung can currently be seen at the Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center located at 107 W. Washington Street in Hartford City until July 5. The hours are 3-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kehoe Concerts begin July 7
The Parks and Recreation has announced the dates and artists for this summer’s  Kehoe Concerts. All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. The rain site for all concerts will be the Bluffton High School Cafetorium.
July 7: Indiana National Guard Band (patriotic)
July 21: Claghorn Brothers Band (classic rock 60’s-80’s)
July 28: Todd Harrold Band (jazz & blues)
Aug. 4: Spike and the Bulldogs (oldies)

Blackford County 4-H Parade July 8
The Blackford County 4-H and Open Fair Parade will be held Monday, July 8 in Hartford City.
Anyone interested in participating in the parade can do so by stopping by 119 N. High Street in Hartford City or by calling the Purdue Extension Office at 765-348-3213. Deadline for entries is June 28, 2013.

Friends of Shelter to meet July 8
Members of the Friends of the Shelter, the organization that supports the Bluffton/Wells County Animal Shelter, will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 8 in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall.
Topics will include upcoming Dog Wash on Aug. 3, Street Fair preparations and shelter operations.
