Senior Citizens Dinner at Ossian Aug. 1
New Hope Lutheran Church, located at the south edge of Ossian, will host its quarterly Senior Citizens Dinner for anyone age 55 or older Thursday, Aug. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Ed Higgins will entertain with a sing-a-long. Naturalist Jody Heaston will talk about the “Value and Importance of Spiders.” A free will offering dinner will be served by the ladies of New Hope. Reserve a spot by calling 260-622-7954 by Tuesday, July 30.
Summer Party at FWMA on Aug. 2
On Friday, Aug. 2, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will be holding a Celebration of Summer Party from 6 to 9 p.m. at the museum. Featured will be the Sounds of Juke Joint Five and treats by Club Soda with a cash bar. On exhibit will be the Summer of Glass.
Admission is $10 ($5 for museum members). no reservations needed.
