Muncie children’s museum events

Two summer programs for children are being announced for June and July at the Muncie Children’s Museum, 515 South High St.

From July 15-19, the museum will host Sid the Science Kid Summer Camp from 8:30 a.m. to noon with registration to begin at 8 a.m. The five day camp will include chances to investigate using different “science tools,” making observations and record data with Sid the Science Kid and conclude with Science Adventure Day. Registration is $70 ($60 for museum members).

Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $6 per person ages 1 to 100.

Wellness Pavilion Pool Tournament July 12

The Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion will host a free pool tournament for any senior 55 and older on Friday, July 12 at 9 a.m. at the Wellness Pavilion.  Snacks will be provided and prizes will be awarded. 

Members and Non-Members are welcome to attend this event. Sign up by noon, Thursday, July 11 at the Wellness Pavilion Front Desk or call 260-589-4496.

The Handmade Summer Market 

July 13

The public is invited to beat the heat during the Three Rivers Festival by attending the Handmade Summer Market at Artlink Gallery, 300 E. Main, on Saturday, July 13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The Handmade Summer Market, presented by local artisans Foxy Ladies Art Posse, will feature many unique, locally made arts and crafts. 

The market will be open rain or shine. Admission is free. 

Donations will be accepted.

Bill Dunn to celebrate 90th birthday July 14

A 90th birthday celebration will be held for Bill Dunn Sunday, July 14 at 6 p.m. at Ossian Church of the Nazarene.

Members of the Allen County Christian Fellowship from Grabill will sing during the event. 

Wells County Chamber Chicken BBQ July 15

 Wells County Chamber Chicken BBQ dinner will be held Monday, July 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Park.  

Chicken only will be available at Dutch Mill Plaza from 4 to 6 p.m. as well.  For more information call 824-0510.
