Wet Wacky Wednesday July 31
The pool will be open Wednesday, July 31 for an evening family swim from 6:30-8 p.m. Cost is $1.50 per person over age five.  All youth must be accompanied by an adult.

NWTF Youth Shooting Event Aug. 11
The Three Rivers Chapter of the NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) will hold a free JAKES Take Aim youth shooting event Aug. 11 at the Izaak Walton League from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  All youth ages 12 to 17 are invited to participate. This event is geared for experienced and inexperienced shooters.
Event participants will be shooting trap and skeet. Shotguns and safety gear will be provided and lessons for inexperienced shooters will be given.  To register, call Andrew Niedermeyer at 260-484-6041. 

Alzheimer’s Support Group to meet Aug. 14 in Huntington
On the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 10:30 a.m., caregivers will meet for the Alzheimer’s Association’s support group. The next meeting will be held Aug. 14 at Parkview Hospital located at 2001 Stults Road in Huntington.
This Alzheimer’s Association support group meets monthly to provide caregivers with an opportunity to share their experiences and receive support from others coping with Alzheimer’s disease. During the meetings, caregivers are encouraged to share information, give and receive support, and exchange coping experiences and strategies. Meetings are open to the public and facilitated by a trained professional and/or family member.

Wells Farm Bureau Tool Shed Meeting Aug. 15
The Wells County Farm Bureau will hold their annual Legislative Tool Shed Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at the home of Mike and Sheri Fiechter at 6630-E 700-N, Ossian. 
Many elected officials will be there to answers questions.

Hunter Education Course Aug. 17 and 18
A free Hunter Education course will be offered Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ossian Conservation Club.
Instructors will be be ICO Andrew Harmon, Darrell Reynolds, Mike and Jodi Pinkerton, Rich Falk and Tracy Myers.

Farm Bureau annual meeting Aug. 19
The Wells County Farm Bureau will hold their annual meeting Monday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Community Building in Bluffton. 
Pick up tickets at the Farm Bureau office to reserve a seat.

Lions Club Car Show Aug. 31
The Lions Club Car Show will be held Aug. 31 at Zanesville United Methodist Church during Zanesville Homespun Day.
Registration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $8 for pre-registration or $10 the day of the show. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m.
