Youth ballet to perform Snow White

The New American Youth Ballet will perform Snow White at 2:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Scottish Rite Auditorium.

The production features 50 dancers ages 8-18 who train ballet 10 to 30 hours per week at the New American Youth Ballet. The lead role of Snow White will be performed by Chelsea Dumas, 17, and Hailey Meert, 16, both of Fort Wayne. The Step Mother will be performed by Destanie Rogers, 14, of Fort Wayne and Hannah Olinger, 16, of LaOtto. The Handsome Prince will be performed by Morgan Stillman, 17, of Fort Wayne.

Get a “Sneak Peek” of the production on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 5:15 p.m. Take a ballet lesson, see the costumes up-close and meet the characters of Snow White in a special presentation at the New American Youth Ballet studios. Appropriate for children of all ages from toddler thru teens! Free with the purchase of a “Snow White” ticket. Reservations required. Call 637-7848 to reserve a spot.
