8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Registration will be held for Spooktacular Car, Truck and Bike Show. Show will be held at the Glenbrook Square Mall in Fort Wayne at 4201 Coliseum Blvd. Awards ceremony will be at 3 p.m. There will be awards, dash plaques, door prizes, raffles, goody bags (first 75 entries), games, contests and more. Tuesday, Oct. 19
4-7:30 p.m. All-You-Can-Eat Fish and Chicken dinner will be held at Sonlight Wesleyan Church located at 2350 S. State Road 1, Bluffton. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages six through twelve and free for those age five and younger. Tickets available at the door. Carry outs will be available. Proceeds will go to missions projects.

Thursday, Oct. 21
6:30-8:30 p.m. Locker Hooking Workshop will be held at the Creative Arts Center at 211 Water Street, Bluffton. Create a trivet as you learn the techniques of locker hooking with fabric strips. Participants need to supply one yard of fabric cut into 1 1/4 inch strips which will be pulled through a grid using a hook. Instructor Carol Malone is an experienced teacher of the method. Her small quilted works are now displayed in the art center gallery. Fee is $12 for members or $10 for non-members. (All supplies provided by the instructor except the fabric you choose to use.) 6 p.m. The Fall Harvest banquet will be held at the South Adams Senior Center, 825 Hendricks St, Berne. The meal will be catered by Norm's Preble Gardens and will be served buffet style. The menu consists of tossed salad, ham and swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, roll and butter, assorted pies, coffee and lemonade. The cost is $10 per person. Entertainment will be furnished by The Singing Silvers from Beech Grove. Please call 589-8877 to sign up and reservations are due by Monday, Oct. 18.
