Uniondale
Halloween Party Oct. 30
The Town of Uniondale will have a free Halloween party from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the firestation. In addition, trick-or-treating will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. that evening.

Card Party and Eurche
Tournament Nov. 6
St. Aloysious Knight of Columbus will sponsor a Card Party and Euchre Tournament Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. in the school basement.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tournament will begin at 7 p.m. There will be food and beverages. A free will offering will be taken. Call 260-639-6488.

Holiday bazaar & homemade mincemeat Nov. 7
If you previously placed an order, please call again due to information misplaced.
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ossian, has just made a fresh batch of homemade mincemeat. This is frozen, and enough for a good sized pie. It contains apples, cherries, plums, raisins, roast beef, apple cider, pineapple juice, grape juice, apple cider vinegar, suet, brown sugar and spices. This will be available at our Holiday Bazaar at our church at the corner of 650 E. and 750 N. southeast of Ossian, on Sunday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or by calling Delores Scheumann, 622-6084, or Helen Witte, 622-4555.

Book Fair at Swiss Village Nov. 8
A Book fair will be held at Swiss Village Retirement Community Monday, Nov. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Selection includes New York Times bestsellers; children’s storybooks, classics, and educational books; stationery and gift items; and general interest books such as cooking, sports, gardening, reference, and multicultural titles. Purchases made at the Fair will allow Books Are Fun to donate books to the Kinder Haus Day Care Library.
