Chalet Village Trick or Treat Oct. 28
Trick or Treat hours at Chalet Village in Berne will be Thursday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Stamp Collecting Show Oct. 30 & 31
Members of the Anthony Wayne Stamp Society will host a Stamp Collecting Show at Concordia Lutheran High School at 1601 Saint Joe River Drive, Fort Wayne Oct. 30th and 31st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
There will be 12 stamp dealers on hand to help with questions about the hobby. For more information call Jim Mowrer at 260-422-1716.

Mt Etna Bazaar
Oct. 30
Mt. Etna United Methodist Church will sponsor their annual Food and Craft Bazaar Saturday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is one of the largest bazaars yet with at least 15 outside venders. Items this year include quilts, Blessings Unlimited greeting cards, Home DÃcor, Gourd designs, Rag rugs and Pillows, Pampered Chef, holiday floral arrangements, solar light crafts, pet toys, Gifts in a Jar, warm cozy mittens, craft supplies from Cozy Creations, Hedge apples and much more.
In addition, the United Methodist Women will be selling their famous homemade pies, noodles, soup and many other baked goods and pumpkin rolls that you can freeze and keep for Thanksgiving. Also there are a limited number of Mt. Etna UM cookbooks available.
In the morning there will be rolls and coffee for a free will donation. The church Youth will be serving a soup and sandwich lunch to help defray the costs of camp.
The church is located at the corner of State Roads 9 and 124 in Mt Etna.

Family Festival at
Glenbrook Square Oct. 30
On Saturday, Oct. 30, 1 to 6 p.m., Glenbrook Square will host the Fall Family Festival—a seasonal celebration featuring family-friendly activities.
There will be make-and-take crafts, face painting, prizes and more. At 3:45 p.m. there will be a costume parade through the mall and from 4 to 6 p.m. Trick or Treating.
Other activities will include beaded necklace making and fall holiday-themed crafts for families. Kids ages 2 to 12 are welcome and encouraged to wear costumes and must be accompanied by an adults. All activities, prizes and crafts are free while supplies last.

Fundraiser dinner at St. John's in Decatur Oct. 31
St. John's (Bingen) Church in Decatur will sponsor a dinner Sunday, Oct. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dinner choices will be Swiss steak and broasted chicken. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children ages six through 12 and free for those age five and younger. Drive thru and carry-outs will be available. (10/25)

Senior citizens’
dinner deadline
Nov. 1
New Hope Lutheran Church, on the south edge of Ossian, will again host its quarterly Senior Citizens’ Dinner (for anyone in the community age 55 or better) on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a sing-a-long with Ed Higgins, an amazing show by Jim Barron, featuring his delightful comedy and his talented illusions all coupled with his great Gospel message for an entertaining show.
A free will offering dinner will be served by the ladies of New Hope. RSVP 622-7954 by Monday, Nov. 1.

Vendors wanted for craft show Nov. 6
The Huntington Parks and Recreation Department is currently looking for vendors for their annual Fall Craft Show, which held at Hier’s Park Saturday, Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Booths will be set up inside Heritage Hall, the 4H Community Building and the Family Living Building. Each booth consists of two eight-foot tables and rents for $20. Booth location is assigned when the rental fee is paid. Fish and Chicken Supper Nov. 6 at Boehmer UM
Members of Boehmer United Methodist Church will sponsor an All-You-Can-Eat Fish and Chicken Supper Saturday, Nov. 6 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The meat will be prepared by Back Door Concessions.
The church is located at 3467S., 600W., Liberty Center.
Free will donations will be used for outreach mission projects.

Bazaar and Swiss Steak Dinner Nov. 7
Bethlehem Lutheran Church will sponsor their annual Bazaar and Swiss Steak Dinner Sunday, Nov. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 6514E., 750N., Ossian.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children. There will also be a hot dog meal available for children for $3. Carry outs will be available.

Veteran's benefits discussion Nov. 11
Robert Rhee, an attorney from Fort Wayne, will be at Eergreen Court Assisted Living apartments Thursday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. to discuss veteran's benefits.
The event is free of charge and lunch will be served.
