Singles Embracing Life meeting listed
A singles small group and bible study meets the second and fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at C&C Bible Fellowship at 4383S., 150E., Berne.

RoadRunners seats available
The Warren RoadRunners have seats available on the following day trips:
Nashville, IN: Friday, Sept. 11; Quilters Trip: Thursday, Sept. 17; ACD Car and WWII Museum: Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Genealogy Society to meet Sept. 19
The next Wells County Genealogy Society meeting will be Saturday, Sept. 19th at 10 a.m. at the Wells County Historical Museum at 420 West Market St. Bluffton.
After the meeting, you may stay and do some research on your own family tree. There are several resources available at the museum, including old yearbooks, genealogy magazines, old scrapbooks, plus the Genealogy Society's own library. For more information call Connie Brubaker 1-260-543-2423.

Women’s Fall
Breakfast Sept. 19
The Huntington University Women’s Fall Breakfast, sponsored by the HU Women’s Auxiliary, will be Saturday, September 19. It will be hosted by Mrs. Chris Dowden, at the HU President’s Home, 901 Ray Street, the breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. All women of the community are invited.
The program Guest Teachers to China: Customs, Courtesies, and Cuisine will feature Susan Burson, Audrey Fetters, Valerie Geer, and Nancy Peace. Each of these women has traveled with the Summer China Team that has led Teacher Instruction for Chinese Teachers of English and Summer Camps for Students in Zhuhai, China, in cooperation with the Zhuhai Education Bureau and Huntington University. Huntington Fall Plant Sale Sept. 19
The Huntington County Master Gardeners Fall Plant Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Forks of the Wabash Historical Museum at the intersection of State Roads 9 and 24 in Huntington.
Perennials and garden items will be offered for sale with the proceeds helping to fund the gardens at the Forks, Salamonie Park Gardens, childrens programs and 4-H awards.

Pumpkin Fest
Sept. 19 & 20
Myers Farm will sponsor their annual Pumpkin Fest Sept. 19 and Sept. 26 and 27 at 807W., 500N, five miles north of Portland. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Available will be pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, fall decor, Indian corn, mums, corn shocks, garage sales, halloween decor, homemade soy candles, apples and cider, free petting zoo and wagon rides. There will be an 1840 Trappers Camp in the Woods Sept. 19 and 20 only.

Doggie Douse at Splash Pad Sept. 20
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation Department invite those with dogs to take your “leashed” canine buddy and enjoy the first annual “Doggie Douse”!
For the last two hours of the Splash Pad season, Sunday, Sept. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. we’ll waive the no pooches on the pad rule and let it “go to the dogs”! Please remember to keep your pet on a leash, under control and clean any up “accidents” immediately.

Balbec Days
Sept. 26th
Balbec Days will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 beginning at 9 a.m.
