Ossian Cub Scout Roundup Sept. 10
Cub Scout Pack 3152, sponsored by the Ossian Volunteer Fireman, invites all boys from first to fifth grade to its annual Round Up at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10 in the cafeteria at Ossian Elementary School, 213 S. Jefferson Street. The meeting is held so boys and their parents can find out more about Cub Scouting.
Those attending will will meet the den leaders and other parents and scouts to receive information on registration. Boys can be registered that night as Cub Scouts.

Bluffton Cub Scout Roundup Sept. 10
Cub Scout Pack 3149, sponsored by the Bluffton-Harrison Elementary PTO, invites all boys from first to fifth grade to its annual Round Up at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10 at Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School, 1100 E Spring Street. During the meeting boys and their parents can find out more about Cub Scouting.
The boys and their parents will meet the den leaders and other parents and scouts and will receive information on registration. Boys can be registered that night as Cub Scouts.

AAUW Used Book Sale Sept. 11-13
American Association of University Women Used Book Sale will be held at Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center across from the Rave Theater between Cold Stone Creamery and Payless store! Sale is Friday, Sept. 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Admission fee opening night is $5 for access to best selection. Free admission Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 13, from noon to 5 p.m. Thousands of books with pricing of $2 per hardback, $1 per paperback, and 50 cents for children/youth books will be available.

All proceeds benefit women in education locally, nationally and internationally.

Oktoberfest Sept.
11-13 in Hoagland
Oktoberfest will be held Sept. 11-13 at Hoagland. Admission is free. Location is 12 miles south of Fort Wayne at the Hoagland Park and Pavillion.
Band performing include Squeezebox with Ted Lange on Friday from 7 to 11 p.m.; Squeezebox and Barvarian Brass Saturday from 3 to 11 p.m.; and Melody Magic and Bavarian Brass on Sunday from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There will be a moon walk for kids Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Campers welcome. For more information call 260-639-3062 or 260-639-3067.

Art Fest Ossian
Sept. 11
Art Fest Ossian will be held Friday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Ossian Furniture Showroom.
Local artists will have their work on display beginning Friday, September 11 through Saturday September 12, at 4 p.m. The event is free to the public. Interested artists should contact Joel Fremion for booth space. at joelfremion@yahoo.com or 260-622-7760.
