Club News: Women of Epworth

Women of the Epworth United Methodist Church met Aug. 25 in Fellowship Hall.
“The Purpose of the United Methodist Women” was read by all in attendance. The article “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” was read and discussed.
The secretary and treasurer's reports were given and approved.
Bobbie Oman read from a book written by her Grandpa Campbell entitled “From a Log Cabin in the Woods to the Pulpit in the City.” Bobbie (Campbell) Oman and Cy Oman were married Aug. 29, 1951 by Grandpa Campbell.
Wanda Steffen led the group in prayer. Refreshments were served by JoAnn Bable to: Faye DeArmond, Erma Conner, Carol Weber, Bessie Nicholson, Barbara Irwin, Wanda Steffen, Cindy Hunt, Abby Hunt, Bobbie Oman, Edruan Roberts, Karen Alman, Phyllis Swartz, Norma Moser and Kathy Gardner.
The Sept. 29th meeting will have Wanda Steffen as leader and Norma Moser serving refreshments.
