What's Up (After Street Fair 2009?)

Meadowvale Car Show planned
Meadowvale Health and Rehabilitation is planning a car show to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. It will be held on October 10th, 8 a.m. Noon is registration, 3 p.m. awards will be given. $10 per car entry. There will be entertainment and food on site. Farmers Market
Corner Main and Washington Street, downtown Bluffton, Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m. to noon.
Available: Apples, pears, apple cider, honey, jam, jelly, sweet corn, tomatoes, pies, cakes, cookies, decorated gourds, pumpkins, homemade breads, handcrafted cards, wood crafts. (Pd. Advt.)

Fall festival at
Winona Lake Oct. 3
The Village at Winona® will host a day of demonstrations and harvest time fun during the annual Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be live demonstrations of 19th century crafts including wool spinning, basket weaving, wood carving, chain saw carving and more. For more information call 574-268-9888.

Limberlost 26th Annual Antique Gas Engine Show Oct. 4
Limberlost State Historic Site will once again host the annual Antique Gas Engine Show Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free!
The Antique Gas Engine Show will once again take place on the parking lot of the historic log cabin home of naturalist, filmmaker and author Gene Stratton-Porter in Geneva, Ind. Vendors selling refreshments, crafts and rummage sale items will be on hand and the site will be open for tours.
Engine show participants are not required to preregister. Gasoline is provided by the Friends of the Limberlost. Participants receive certificates awarded in such categories as largest engine, smallest engine, oldest engine, eldest exhibitor, youngest exhibitor and exhibitor who traveled the greatest distance to the Engine Show. There will be a tractor drive around Geneva to the Ceylon Covered Bridge beginning at 2 p.m. There is still room for craft and food vendors. Bowman Family Reunion Oct. 4
The Bowman family reunion will be held Sunday, Oct. 4 at noon. It will be held five miles west of Monroe on 124 and one mile north.
Drinks and meat will be provided.

Church in the Woods Oct. 4
Lancaster Chapel U.M. Church will hold their annual Church in the Woods service Sudnay, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. in the east pavilion at the Wells County 4-H Park.
Worship music will be provided by Heaven's Harmony (Patty Bollheimer, Kent and Kraig Biberstein, Jamie Chism and Bill Wafford.)
A carry-in meal will follow the service. The public is welcome to attend the event. Those attending should bring their lawn chairs. Harvest bingo will be played after the meal.
