Food preservation, workshop July 8
A workshop involving food preservation, canning, freezing an drying will be held Wednesday, July 8 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. at the Wells Community Center at the 4-H Park. Cost is $3 per person.
Learn to preserve nature's bounty through canning, freezing and drying. Taught by Extension Educator Vickie Hadley of Allen County.

Edelweiss Singers in concert July 9
The Edelweiss Singers, directed by Don Gerig and Kathleen Henkel accompanist, will perform at the South Adams Senior Center on Thursday evening, July 9, at 7 p.m.
They have performed around the area for many years and sing a variety of music. There is no admission charge for this concert, but donations are accepted for the senior center expenses.
The South Adams Senior Center is located at 825 Hendricks St., Berne, IN. Everyone of any age, or residential location is invited to come and enjoy an evening of wonderful music. (7/2)
Dodge Ball
Tournament July 9
The Wells Community Boys and Girls Club will sponsor a Dodge Ball Tournament Thursday, July 9 at 1 p.m. for all ages. Cost is $5 per team. Make your own team or we can make one for you. First, second and third place winners will receive trophies and t-shirts. Call Boys & Girls Club for registration 824-5070.

Wellness Fair July 9 in Berne
A Wellness Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at the Arthur & Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion in Berne. It is open to the community and will showcase goods and services that promote living a healthier life. Free blood pressure checks will also be available.
