Wells County Historical Society Summer schedule

The Historical Society has listed their spring and summer hours. They are Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.

Genealogy Society
The current exhibit “All Things Genealogy” is running through July 22.

Special Events
Sunday, July 12: Joan Gavilanez will be speaking on “Foreign Genealogy Research” at 2 p.m. Members will be there to answer questions.

Saturday, July 18: Wells County Genealogy Society meeting at the museum at 10 a.m. Come prepared to work on your own genealogy. We can use the Museum’s library and the Genealogy Society Library of books.

Sunday, July 19: Cami Mount will be the afternoon speaker at 2 p.m.. Her topic will be “Preserving Your Family Keepsakes.” Members there to answer questions.
Sunday, July 26: Lynn Elliott will be the afternoon speaker at 2 p.m. Her topic will be “Come Learn About the Daughters of the American Revolution.” Members there to answer questions.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday-Aug. 6,7, 8: Wheels Of Yesteryear at the Wells County 4-H Park. Come see the Farm Display.

Monday, Aug. 17: The Annual Hobby and Collectors Show at Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School. More information soon. If you would like to be an exhibitor please call Laura Sawyer 824- 3806.
