Markle needs live Nativity and caroler volunteers
The Markle Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the annual Christmas in Our Town Dec. 6 and Dec. 6. Currently the event is in need of live Nativity and carolers. Sign up deadline is Nov. 7. Call Linda Beck at 260-820-0089.

UW benefit Oct. 30 & 31 at BRMC
South Bend Chocolate Company will be at the Bluffton Regional Main Lobby Thursday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. selling their products. A percentage of proceeds will go to benefit the United Way of Wells County.

FW potters open house Nov. 7-9
This will be the 15th annual holiday show for 14 area potters to combine for a  show titled “Just a Bunch of Potters.”
The show will be held at the North Pointe Woods Club House, 8202 Riveroak Dr. in Fort Wayne. Offered for sale will be mugs, bowls, plates and vases, wall pieces tiles, sculptural figures and some mixed media pieces.
Hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 & 9.
Participating potters will include Kimberly Rorick, Kristy Jo Beber, Steve Vachon, Sue Davis, Mary Lieberman-Brandt, Jean Barile, Cynthia Ballinger, Diane Robinson, Doug Phillips, Joseph Pelka, Rebecca Graves, Steve Smith and John and Angie Platt.

Dan’s Fish Fry  at Hope Nov. 8
There will be a Dan’s All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry Saturday, Nov. 8 at Hope Missionary Church Family Life Center at at 429 E. Dustman Road in Bluffton from 4 to 7 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit Samaritan’s Purse and the Operation Christmas Child project to help cover shipping costs for shoebox gifts.
Dine-in or carry out will be available. Presale Tickets available at Forgotten Children Worldwide at 650 N. Main Street in Bluffton or A Perfect Blend at 1225 S. Scott Street in Bluffton.
Pre-sale ticket costs are $9 for adults, $4.50 for youth, ages 6-12 and free for those age 5 and younger.

Fall Bazaar in Warren Nov. 8
Warren United Church of Christ (at Second and Main Streets) will hold their annual Fall Bazaar, “An Olde Time Christmas”, on Nov. 8 from  9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Homemade noodles will be available as well as Christmas Craft Room, Deli and Bakery, Cinnamon and Spice Nook, and Notions. 

FW children’s choir concert Nov. 9
Fort Wayne’s Children’s Choir, under the direction of Jonathan Busarow, will present a Harvest Concert on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m. at the IPFW Auer Performance Hall. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and youth, in advance, and on the day of the concert $12 and $10.
Seven different choirs will be performing featuring 250 kids between the ages of 8 and 18 (third grade through high school).
