Exhibit begins Nov. 8
From Nov. 8 through Dec. 21, the Weatherhead Gallery at the University of Saint Francis will showcase a Contemporary Painting Exhibit. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, 6 to 9 p.m. in the gallery.
Chicago artists included will be Chris Cosnowski, Eric Edward Esper, Michiko Itatani, Brenda Moore and Judith Mullen. New York artists will be Peter Drake, William Eckhardt Kohler, Shay Kun, Jennifer Presant and Christ Uphues. Hours for the gallery are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. It will be closed from Nov. 27-30 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
A Closer Look lecture will be presented by Chicago artist Brenda Moore on Monday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the North Campus Auditorium 2702 Spring St. in Fort Wayne.
Italian Dinner fundraiser Nov. 8 at 4-H Park
The Wells County 4-H will sponsor an Italian Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the 4-H Park in Bluffton.
A choice of spaghetti with meat sauce or chicken alfredo will be served along with salad, breadsticks, dessert and beverage.
Cost is $10 per adults and $5 for youth 10 and under. Tickets are on sale at the Purdue Extension Office at 1240 4-H Park Road, Bluffton. Tickets will also be available at the door. Proceeds from this event will benefit the 4-H Park Restroom Construction Project.
