You know, Dave Ramsey's little sayings are starting to bother me. Normal is NOT broke, and it's not weird to be debt-free. I'm thinking that because he's in the business of selling his services to broke people, that's all he sees, so he gets a skewed vision of reality. There are many, many people who are not broke, and who have a comfortable amount of wealth. He just doesn't see them because they don't need his services. The danger is that if he keeps saying things like this, younger people may begin to believe it. I definitely don't want my children to think broke is normal!!!
