Bluffton Rotary fundraiser underway
The Rotary Christmas fundraiser has begun for 2009.
Special items are greeting cards with a print of a winter scene at Ouabache State Park, painted by local artist Don Skinner. A pack of 25 cards with envelopes sells for $15 each. To place your order call 260-565-3131, or email lee@adamswells.com.
The funds raised by this activity flow through the Bluffton Rotary Club to support many different community organizations and activities.

Fish and Tenderloin Supper Nov. 13
Members of the South West Conservation Club, Inc. will sponsor a Fish and Tenderloin supper Nov. 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. For more information call 260-747-4677.

It's a Wonderful Life opens Nov. 13 at The Pulse Opera House
“It's a Wonderful Life” will be performed Nov. 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, Dec. 3, 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. at The Pulse Opera House in Warren.
The play is based on the Frank Capra film and tells the story of George Bailey (played by Wells County resident Chase Adams) who is contemplating suicide due to recent setbacks. Just as he is about to jump off a bridge he encounters an angel (played by David Dean) who is tring to earn his wings. Other Wells County residents performing in the play include Christine Fuller as Mother Bailey, Leslie Witkamp at Mary Hatch/Bailey and Justin Perry as Mr. Welch.
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $5 for children 12 and younger. There is a $2 discount per ticket for every non-perishable item brought in for the Food Pantry. Tickets are available in the lobby before the show. The lobby opens at 7 p.m. Doors to the theatre open at 7:30 p.m. All shows begin a 8 p.m.

Boutique and Craft Show Nov. 14
Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Alpha Iota Chapter will sponsor the 37th annual Boutique and Craft Show Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Anthony's Parish Hall at 700 W. Maumee Street, Angola. There is a 25 cent door donation. For more information call 260-668-0337.

Gaming Day Nov. 14
National Gaming Day is Saturday, Nov. 14 and you can plan a fun celebration with new CD-Rom games from the Wells County Public Library. The library recently updated the CD-Rom game collection by adding more than 150 new games to play on your home computer. The CD-Rom collection now totals about 500 fun and educational games rated for ages pre-school to adult.
Here are just a few of the new games: Prince of Persia, Dungeons and Dragons: Dragonshard, John Deere: Welcome to MerriWeather Farm, Armed and Dangerous, Monster Jam, Meet Blue’s Baby Brother, Tonka Monster Trucks, Frogger, Law and Order: Justice Served, Crazy Chicken Farm, etc.
CD-Roms loan free for 21 days with a valid library card. You can check out six games at a time.

Sigma Phi Gamma Black Raspberry Pie Sale Nov. 21
