Indiana author, Marcy Ann Cheek, has announced that her book, “Seventeen Things to Do While Waiting for Mr. Right-the 21st Century Bride-to Book” is now available at the Wells County Public Library.

Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 14 at Uniondale
St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Uniondale will provide Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings Saturday, Nov. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The meal is enjoyed by many with Christian fellowship, however due to community health concerns this year, the meal will be served as a carry-out dinner only. Those wanting the dinner can come to the church, pick up the meal and take it home. Take out containers will be provided.
Reservations are requested by Nov. 11 by calling 260-543-2245 or 260-824-0070 with the number of carryout dinners to be picked up. A free will offering will be taken. (Pd. Advt.)


Book Fair at Berne Nov. 13
Books Are Fun will be holding a book fair at Swiss Village Retirement Community Friday, Nov. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.
Books available will include: children’s storybooks, classics, educational books, cooking, sports, gardening, reference, and multicultural titles.
Purchases made at the Fair will allow Books AreFun to donate books to the Kinder Haus Day Care Library.

Free Throw Contest
Nov. 21
A Turkey Shoot Free Throw Contest will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Bluffton City Gym. Cost is $1 per person.
This event is for children in grades three through eight.Pre register by Nov. 19.
