Farmer's Market Wednesdays and Saturdays
Farmer's Market is held each Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and each Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the corner of Main and Washington Streets in Bluffton.
Available will be: sweet corn, red beets, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes (red and yellow), squash, pies, cakes, cookies, jam, jelly, honey, peaches, apples, free ranges eggs, wood crafts, decorated gourds, hand crafted cards and perennials. (Pd. Advt.)

Bully Awareness Program Aug. 28
The Wells Community Boys and Girls Club will offer a Bully Awareness Program from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. each Friday from Aug. 28 through Oct. 2. The program is for all ages. Call 824-5070.

Flagg Coal #75 to at Metamora Aug. 28

LaFontaine Concert series begins Aug. 30
Miriam Barker, Soloist with James Taylor KJ/DJ will perform in concert at the LaFontaine Arts Council’s Summer Concert Series on Friday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m. at the Historic Forks of the Wabash in Huntington.
This year marks the 8th season of summer concerts sponsored by LaFontaine Arts Council for the Huntington Community. Concessions will be available.
The concerts are free to the public. A freewill offering is taken after each concert. Proceeds will be directed toward the arts council’s yearly scholarship, which is awarded to a county student focusing on fine arts education. For more information call Debbie Dyer at 260-358-0055.

Gospelfest at Kehoe Aug. 30
Gospelfest will be featured Sunday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. at Kehoe Park in Bluffton. Some old time faith tunes by the river at summer's end. Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs and bug spray. Concessions will be available for purchase. Call 824-5222.

Melody Line in
concert Aug. 30
Melody Line will perform at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Contact 260-747-9218.

Miriam Barker to perform Aug. 30
Vocalist Miriam Barker and FM Entertainment’s James Taylor will join forces to close out final concert in the Parlor Music Series, sponsored by the LaFontaine Arts Council in Huntington will take place on Sunday, August 30, at 4 p.m. at the Historic Forks of the Wabash in Huntington.The concert is free to the public. Slusher reunion
Aug. 30
The Slusher reunion will be held Aug. 30 at the Dillman Church. It will be a carry in dinner. No chicken will be furnished as year before. Please bring your own table service. Drinks and cups will be furnished. Contact Colleen McMillan at 260-375-3192 with any questions.

Bike-a-thon Sept. 12
The Christian New Light Church is sponsoring it’s first annual Bike-a-thon to raise money for it’s missionaries and mission projects. This is a 20 mile ride on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. If you are up for a challenge and would like to join us in our cause you are welcome to do so.

Ossian Days Talent Show taking
applications
Ossian Psi Otes and the Ossian Economic Revitalization Committee are taking applications for the second annual Talent Show during the Ossian Days Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.
Cash prizes will be awarded by the Ossian Psi Otes. Students in grades kindergarten through 12 are encouraged to participate in front of the big tent by the NAPA building. There will be four age categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-12 and open class for mixed groups. Applications can be picked up at each Northern Wells School in the music departments or at Ossian Town Hall.
