Analog Khaos raises $$$$ for Riley

A few words from Michael Broderick, Team Leader, Analog Khaos:

Our event officially started at around 10:30AM Satuday and ended at around 2:45PM Sunday. With the breaks accounted for, our unofficial record time was set at 24 hours 15 minutes. The rules set by Guinness were pretty strict as well. Team must take a required break every 60 minutes for 10 minutes. Team cannot stop at any time for any reason besides during breaks. Two witnesses must be present at all times throughout the event. Event must be held at a public place with the ability for public visit. At least 5 visitors from the public had to come to the public event A log book must be maintained throughout the event listing times and game modes Team members are only allowed to be in game menus for no more than 20 seconds at a time Video evidence must be provided of the whole event, as well as a highlight reel Pictures of the event have to be taken with a high quality camera Local newspaper or media outlet clipping must be provided for helpful evidence Those rules were basically the top 10 rules that we had to follow. We are working on the evidence this week and plan on sending the evidence to the UK Guinness HQ sometime this week. Our sponsors included Epic Games (T-shirts), Microsoft (Controllers), Gerber Furniture (Chairs/Loveseat), and RIchard's Restaurant (Breakfast Biscuits and Gravy). Our team would like for the article to add that, "Analog Khaos would like to thank Gerber Furniture, Richard's, Epic Games, and Microsoft for sponsoring us. Analog Khaos would also like to thank the Blockbuster staff, our families, friends, loved ones, and the community for helping us and supporting us throughout the planning and follow through of the event. The event couldn't have gone more smoother without their continuing support.' We officially raised $100.13 for Riley from community donations for Riley. The record for now is 'unofficial' until Guinness accepts/denies our attempt as well as adjusting our record time according to our video evidence. Our evidence will officially be approved/denied in 8 weeks, or we can pay a $450 fee to get the approval time reduced to 3 days, but we are having a difficult time to find the resources to follow through with the speed up acceptance process.
