Volleyball team car wash Aug. 15
Norwell volleyball team car wash will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mike Anderson Chevrolet, Ossian. Suds-up your car for the Knights. Help support the Lady K’s volleyball program.

Antique Car Festival Aug. 15 at Winona®

Gospel Weekend Aug. 15 & 16
Wildwood Acres will sponsor the 21st annual M.D.A. Gospel Weekend Aug. 15 and 16 at 0520W-300N., Hartford City.
Bands include: Ellyn Adney, Common Ground, Masters own, Witnesses of the Light, New Vessels, Rick Evans, Betty Swinson, cortney Flatter, Steve Kellogg, Susan Durovey, Murphys Family, The Promises, Kelly York Family and Betty Jo Armstrong “Minnie Pearl.”
Admission is free. Band will play from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Church services will be held at 8:30 a.m on Sunday. Music will play from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information call 765-766-5112 or 765-348-2100.

Quburn Dixielanders at Kehoe Aug. 16
The Quburn Dixielanders will perform in concert Sunday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. at Kehoe Park in Bluffton. Come on along and tap the beat with Eli the Tuba Guy!
Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs and bug spray. Concessions will be available for purchase. For more information call 824-5222.

Dam Ride Aug. 16
A Dam Ride will be held Sunday, Aug. 16. Those attending can meet at the truck stop at I-69 and State Road 5 in Warren. The ride will start at 9:30 a.m. For more information mail Ivan Ivins at P.O. Box 20, Bluffton, IN 46714. Rain date will be Aug. 23, 2009.

Grogg family reunion Aug. 16
The Grogg family reunion will be held at Affolder Park in Geneva Sunday, Aug. 16. Dinner will be at noon, please bring a covered dish and lawn chair. For more information call Rhonda Moser at 260-525-7556.
Adult Ceramics class sign up by Aug. 17
Plan ahead for fall MusicWorks and Innovations classes. The fall arts education brochures will soon be available at Arts Place and online. Classes for both programs will begin after Labor Day. Scholarship deadline is Monday, Aug. 17.

4-H Rodeo meeting Aug. 17
The 4-H Rodeo Committee meeting will be held Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Park in Bluffton.

Hobby & Collector Show Aug. 17
The Wells County Historical Society will sponsor their annual Hobby and Collector Show Monday, Aug. 17 at Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend the free event. Light fefreshments will be served.

Foundation to
meet Aug. 18
The Wells County Foundation will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at the Wells County 4-H Park, Bluffton.

Insect program at Salamonie Aug. 18 and 20
“I Like Insects” program will be held Wednesday, Aug. 19 and Thursday, Aug. 20 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. for children ages two through five at the Salamonie Interpretive Center.
During the program children and their parent or caregiver will enjoy activities focused around insects and their role in the environment. There is a $2 fee per child. The entrance fee will be waived for program attendees.
