Muncie horse club to host free Trail Ride for 4-Hers June 7

The Muncie Light Horse Club will host a trail ride at Prairie Creek Reservoir for 4-H members Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 9 a.m. Membership may be with any county club. Hot dogs and pop will be provided.

Located at Prairie Creek Reservoir horse trail parking lot at County Road 475 East in Delaware County. The event is free to 4-H members who are current members of the Muncie Light Horse Club. For those who are not members of the club trail day passes may be purchased for $5. Annual passes are also available at $25. Camera Workshop June 11

Bob Goines from Sunny Schick Camera Store in Fort Wayne will host, “Better pictures with your digital SLR” at the Wells County Public Library Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. This workshop for adults is great for beginners and a refresher for others for single lens reflex digital cameras (removable/interchangeable lens). 

Bob will go through the basic functions of digital SLRs, offer tips and discuss techniques for getting the best shot. Questions and answers will follow. Ages 17 and up only. Class size limited to 15 and registration is required. Bus trip to Columbus Quilt Show June 20

There is still room on the bus for you! The Creative Quilters are going on a bus trip to the 40th Annual National Quilting Association’s Greater Columbus Quilt Show in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, June 20. Horse Camp June 22-24

A horse camp for kids ages 10 to 16 will be held at C&C Bible Fellowship June 22 through June 24, 2009.
