What's Up at the Parks Department

The Bluffton Parks Department and Bluffton Tigers Football Team is now registering boys age 7-10 for Flag Football. Camp will be June 22-26th from 1-3pm in the Bluffton Practice Field (located behind the tennis courts). This camp will teach basic fundamentals and emphasize teamwork. A Hair Braiding class will be offered in the City Hall building from 11-noon on Friday June 12th for anyone ages 13 - adult who would like to learn. You need to bring a friend or child with long hair to practice on. This free program will teach you how to French braid, and backbone (reverse French braiding). To register call the park office at 824-6069.

Grandpa and Me Build a Bird Feeder – June 7th from 2-3:30pm. Bring a hammer for some fun building and bonding with your grandson. Cost is 3.50 due that day. Grandpa must call to register at 824-6069. LIMITED ENROLLMENT

Children’s Garage Sale – Teach your children the value of a dollar and clean out their bedrooms at the same time. Call 824-6069 to register, cost is $2 for a 10x10 foot space (tables provided on a first come first serve basis). This is a great way to help your children learn to buy, sell or trade used books, toys, puzzles, games and sports equipment. No clothing, baked goods or lemonade stands allowed. Sale is June 6th from 10-noon in the City Gym.
