Online jigsaw puzzles available at library
Love jigsaw puzzles? Now you can put together beautiful 70 to 300-piece puzzles featuring the Wells County Public Library and our collections for free online. Pictures of the library, Harry Lindstrand paintings, dolls from the Compton O’Rider International Doll Collection, and more are now available.

Taco Heaven open Saturday
King's Highway Tabernacle Taco Heaven will be open Saturday, May 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bluffton Body and Repair at 804 W. Wabash Street, Bluffton.

Pain Support Group meeting May 11
C&C Bible Fellowship will sponsor a free CAPS (Combat Against Pain Support) support group meeting Monday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. at 4383S-150E, Berne.

Create a Fairy
Garden May 13
Attract the "wee folk" by creating your own Fairy Garden with horticulturist Carrie Pence at the Wells County Public Library on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m.
Build your garden alone or work as a team with your favorite fairy friend. Bring a shallow container with drainage that holds, at most, seven quarts of soil. Carrie, of Janet’s Garden Center, will provide the rest of the materials. Class fee of $20 due at registration. Class size limited. Sound of Music
tryouts May 28
Auditions are now being scheduled for “The Sound of Music,” which will be presented during this year’s Swiss Days celebration in Berne. Try-outs are open to area children, teens and adults, and are set for Thursday, May 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. A
uditioning individuals should come prepared to sing a song from one of the following categories: children, “My Favorite Things;” women, “The Sound of Music;” and men, “Edelweiss.” An accompanist will be provided.

5K Run/Walk June 6
The Monroe Lions Club will sponsor a 5K Run/Walk Saturday, June 6 at 8:15 a.m. Pre-registration is due by June 1, 2009. Entry fee is $15 for pre-registration or $18 the day of the race.
Te race will begin at the Adams County 4-H Fairgrounds in Monroe. It will follow a flat, blacktop course through Monroe. Call 260-692-6819 or email: cbowers@usppp.com.
