Indiana Equal Pay Day May 13
Wednesday, May 13, 2009 marks the day Indiana women, on average, “catch up” to men’s earnings from 2008. To mark the occasion, several women’s organizations will be holding a press conference in the Allen County Public Library plaza Wednesday morning at 9 am.
Speakers from the Fort Wayne chapter of the American Association of University Women, the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau and Fort Wayne Feminists will speak.

Pancake and
sausage breakfast May 16
The South Adams Senior Center will be host a pancake and sausage breakfast Saturday, May 16 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lehman Park Pavilion in Berne.
This event will be sponsored by the Board of Directors of the South Adams Senior Center and proceeds from the event will go for upkeep, activities, and operating expenses for the Senior Center. Donations will be accepted for the breakfast. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, applesauce, orange juice and coffee.
