Wednesdays and Saturdays
The Farmer’s Market is now open at the Dutch Mill Plaza (Main Street at the bridge) on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
Current features include garden and bedding plants, fresh strawberries, fresh baked goods, fresh roasted coffee, woodworking products, candles and handmade crafts, locally grown meat, and more. (Pd. Advt.)

Wet Wacky Wednesday July 2
Wet Wacky Wednesdays began June 4.  The pool will be open for evening family swim every Wednesday during the pool season. Pool hours are 6:30-8 p.m. and cost is $1.50 per person over age five. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Dates are: July 9, 16, 23, 30 and Aug. 6. 

Botanical Conservatory $1 admission July 3
On the first Thursday night of the month the Botanical Conservatory in downtown Fort Wayne offers $1 admissions from 5-8 pm, for adults and children. Babies and up to age 2 are still admitted free.

Bald Eagle program at Limberlost July 4
The public is welcome to attend the Bald Eagle Program, a special Independence Day program on Friday, July 4 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Limberlost State Historic Site Visitor Center. 
Visitors will be able to see a live bald eagle provided by Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab of Fort Wayne and attend a PowerPoint presentation in the Visitor Center classroom.
This event, free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged.
