Willshire Flea Market Aug. 1-3
The Willshire Sportsman’s Club will sponsor their annual Trade Days and Flea Market on August 1, 2 and 3 on the club grounds located 1.5 miles east of Willshire, Ohio on Highway 81. The hours are 8 a.m. until dusk.
Hunting and fishing items will be available. There will be crafts and flea market items as well. A gunsmith will also be on site. A food stand will be serving breakfast and sandwiches.

Stable of Hope event Aug. 9
 Stable of Hope, a division of C&C Bible Fellowship, will offer a special free event for children of single parents and kids who are struggling with grief or long-term illness Saturday,  Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 4383S-150E, Berne.  
This special event will feature horse and buggy rides, a petting zoo, and much more.   Lunch will be offered free of charge for children. For a small fee, adult lunches will also be available. For more information call 260-589-9022.

Summer Music Fest Aug. 16
The Garrett Summer Sixties free Music Fest will be held Saturday, Aug. 16. They will celebrate the 45th anniversary of Woodstock. 
The program will offer live 60s music from 2-8 p.m. on two stages. There will be  dancing, arts, crafts, food and drink vendors, activities for children, an adult hula-hoop contest, and more. 
From 8 p.m. to midnight there will be a black light record hop.
