Cherry Pie to be auctioned July 24

A homemade cherry pie made and donated by Helen Witte of Jefferson Twp. will be auctioned at the 4-H Livestock Auction on July 24.  Proceeds will go to the Wells County 4-H Foundation for the fund to build new restrooms at the 4-H Park.  The Auction will begin at 3:30 p.m. The sale order will be:  Rabbit, Beef, Dairy, Dairy Beef, Sheep, Dairy Feeder, Goat, 4-H Foundation, Poultry, and Swine.

C&C Bible Fellowship lists summer activities

C. & C, Bible Fellowship, located at 4383S-150E , Berne has announced its summer events.

Kindergarten through second grade camp: July 30.

Grade 3, 4, 5 camp: July 31 and Aug. 1- 2.

The camps are open to the public. For more information call the Bridge Church in Decatur Indiana.

Horse Camp for grades 3, 4, 5 and 6: July 31 and Aug. 1-2 (check web site, stableofhope.com).

Special Events with Horses include:

Aug. 9 for kids with serious illness or grieving the loss of a love one.

Sept. 13 for kids with disability. All special events start are from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Parents, grandparents, siblings and friends are encouraged to come view the activities. 

Activities will include horse back riding for those who are able to ride, pony cart rides, petting zoo, and possible hay ride. All participants must have an accident release form signed by a parent or guardian. A free lunch will be provided for participants, all others their will be small charge for lunch.  Bring chairs. Vendors needed for craft bazaar Oct. 25

Vendors are needed for the second Annual Allen County 4-H Fairgrounds Craft Bazaar.  on Saturday Oct. 25 at the Allen County 4-H Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost for an 8’ booth space, with table will be $35.   For more information, please contact Chad at 260- 704-0765.
