Farmer’s Market Wednesdays and Saturdays
The Farmer’s Market is now open at the Dutch Mill Plaza (Main Street at the bridge) on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
Current features include garden and bedding plants, fresh strawberries, fresh baked goods, fresh roasted coffee, woodworking products, candles and handmade crafts, locally grown meat, and more. (Pd. Advt.)

Wet Wacky Wednesday July 16
The pool will be open for evening family swim every Wednesday during the pool season. Pool hours are 6:30-8 p.m. and cost is $1.50 per person over age five. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Dates are: July 23, 30 and Aug. 6.

Swiss Days Parade form deadline July 16
Those interested in participating in the Berne Swiss Days Parade need to fill out parade forms by Wednesday, July 16. There is no charge if entries are in by the 16th.  After the deadline, there will be a $20 charge.

AIDS Task Force Community Open House July 17
The AIDS Task Force will sponsor an open house at the agency office at 525 Oxford St., Fort Wayne, on Thursday, July 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Those attending can meet the staff and learn more about the services, mission and purpose of the AIDS Task Force.
Attendees are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable foods for the agency’s in-house Gregory L. Manifold food pantry.

Jazzworks! July 19
Bring a lawn chair and join attendees outside in the gardens for the annual Three Rivers Festival firework finale on Saturday, July 19 at 10 p.m. for a jazz performance. 
Find a spot on the terrace or in the Exploration Garden at Botanical Gardens in Fort Wayne. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. No outside food or beverage allowed. Doors open at 6 p.m. No reservations needed. Regular Conservatory admission applies: $5 per adult; $3 per child ages 3-17; discount with TRF button. For more information call 260-427-6028.

Judah Worship Fellowship Picnic July 19
Judah Worship Fellowship Church will sponsor a picnic Saturday, July 19 beginning at noon at 502 Normandy Drive in Bluffton. There will be music, a 50/50 raffle, a bake sale, food, water balloon toss and cancer bracelets.

Flower & Vegetable Show Entries due July 22
The Wells County Master Gardeners will sponsor this year’s Open Class Flower and Vegetable Show during the Wells County 4-H Fair.
Entries need to be submitted by Tuesday, July 22 between 9 and 11:30 a.m.

Rules for the show are available at the Purdue Extension Office or the Wells County Farm Bureau office. Prize money will be awarded. For more information call 260-694-6714.
