Summer of glass at FW museum
Fort Wayne’s Museum of Art will be celebrating a “Summer of Glass” with works by Peter Bremers and winners of the 42nd annual International Glass Invitational through Aug. 31.
A gallery talk will be featured on Thursday, Aug. 7, beginning at 12:14 p.m. 
 A summer party will be held on Friday, Aug. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening will feature cash edibles, a cash bar and live music. Admission is $5 for members and $12 for non members. Visit fwmoa.org/rsvp for tickets.
A group trunk show will be held in Paradigm Gallery on Thursday, Aug. 14, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a gallery talk by artists Mike Brumbaugh, Eran Park and Matthew Paskiet. Park will be demonstrating glass blowing techniques. There is no admission charge.

Revitalize Rivergreenway
The Wells County Foundation, Inc. is pleased to collaborate with the City of Bluffton and Wells County Revitalization, Inc. to raise funds to “Revitalize Our RiverGreenway”. Matching funds made available from the three organizations mean that each contribution to the effort will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000. Contributions should be made payable to the Wells County Foundation, Inc. with “Revitalize Our RiverGreenway” noted on the memo line and mailed to 360 N. Main St., Suite C, Bluffton, IN.

Travelog Aug. 2 at River Terrace
A Nova Scotia Travelog will be held in River Terrace in Assisted Living Commons area, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m.
The event will be hosted by Virgil and Carol Lochtefeld.
The public is welcome to attend the event to see the Canadian side of the country.

Botanical Conservatory $1 Night Aug. 7
On Thursday, Aug. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.  the Botanical Conservatory in downtown Fort Wayne will offer $1 admissions for adults and children.
Babies and children up to age 2 continued to be admitted free.

Jammin’ with Johnston slated for Aug. 7
Get inspired to jam on Thursday, Aug. 7 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. while watching instructor Thom Johnston demonstrate how to turn local seasonal fruit into jars of jam. 
A “home based vendor,” Jonston will share tips of the trade and warnings about pitfalls to avoid when making this tasty fruit preserve. 
Thom learned to jam in his mother’s kitchen and will bring a 50-year-old jar of strawberry jam to prove it.
