Basket Making Class June 9 in Berne:
Deb Gerber will lead a Basket Making Class Thursday, June 9, at 9 a.m., at the South Adams Senior Center.
Participants of the class will have a choice of baskets. Needed supplies include a tape measure, sharp scissors, a pencil, a towel and a spray bottle of water. All reed and materials to make the baskets will be pre-cut and furnished for you. The class size will be limited to 12 people. Call 260-589-8877 by June 6th.
Bluffton Parks Art in the Park June 10:
Children ages two and older are invited to enjoy free crafts for seven consecutive Fridays starting June 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Washington Park, weather permitting.
Parents need to attend with children under age six. Crafts usually take 20 minutes to complete. For more information call 824-6069.
Lions chicken barbecue fundraiser June 12:
Zanesville Lions Club annual chicken barbecue fundraiser will be held Sunday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Carry-out only. Pick-up is at Zanesville Lions Community Park, 3088 W. Vanhorn. Half chicken is $5.50, and baked potatoes are $1 each. Tickets are available from any Lions member, Davis Restaurant in Markle, or at the ballpark concession stand. Advanced tickets come first with other chicken available while supply lasts. For more information call 638-4327.
