Creation-Evolution Debate now through May 8:
Hope Channel will air a debate May 4 through May 8 at 7:30 p.m. each day with genetic research scientist Timothy Standish, Ph.D., and theologian Ron Clouzet, D.Min.

Mother's Day garden gift workshop for kids in Huntington:
Huntington City-Twp. Public Library and Huntington Area Master Gardeners will present a Mother's Day make-and-take gardening craft workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Main Library. Kids ages 4 through fifth graders are eligible to participate. Participants will decorate their own flowerpots, listen to a gardening story, and fill their decorated pot with gardening soil and a plant to give away for Mother's Day. This workshop is free of charge, but space is limited and registration is required. Call the Children's Department at 356-2900 to register.

Fish & Tenderloin fundraiser May 7:
The First Church of Christ will sponsor a fish and tenderloin sandwich sale Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Villa North Mall in Bluffton. D&D Fish Fry will provide the fish and tenderloins. Members of the First Church of Christ will provide baked goods for sale.

Proceeds will be used for the summer children's ministry programs, which are open to all Wells County children.

Kite Day May 8 in Kendallville:
The Mid-America Windmill Museum will host the 10th annual Kite Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at 732 S. Allen Chapel Road (County Road 1000E).

Hoosier Kiteflyers will be on hand to help kids build their own free sled kites. Every child 12 and under will also receive a free personal pan pizza.

A small admission fee will be charged for those over age 12. It includes an admission to the museum.
