Hog Roast Benefit May 22:
A Hog Roast will be held Sunday, May 22, at noon at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Bluffton to benefit Floneta Welsh, who has been diagnosed with two liver diseases. She is on the waiting list for a liver transplant, which will take place in Rochester, Minn.
Registration for Ride for the Cause will be from noon to 1 p.m. at $10 per bike. First bike out at 1 p.m. Last bike in at 3 p.m. There will be a 50/50 drawing, a bake sale, country music concerts by Mountain Dewe Boyes and Dave Liles Band, featuring Jake Lewis, from 2 to 5 p.m. An auction will be held at 5 p.m.
Proceeds from this benefit will assist with medical bills and other expenses.
