Basket making class May 12 at Berne:
Deb Gerber will lead a basket making class Thursday, May 12, at 9 a.m. at the South Adams Senior Center.

Participants of the class will make a homespun biscuit basket with liner. Supplies needed will be tape measure, sharp scissors, pencil, towel and a spray bottle of water. All reed and materials to make the basket will be pre-cut and furnished for you. Cost of the class is $25. Class size will be limited to 12 people. Call the South Adams Senior Center at 260-589-8877 to reserve a spot. Last day to reserve your spot in class will be Monday, May 9.

Friends of the Shelter meeting May 10:
Friends of the Shelter will meet May 10 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bluffton Police Department conference room. Items on the agenda are spay neuter clinic numbers update, garage sale numbers results, and shelter maintenance/landscaping update. All interested citizens are welcome to attend. Call 260-273-1742.

Circus coming to Montpelier May 10:
The Kelly Miller Circus will come to Montpelier May 10 for two shows, one at 4:30 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m., at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets the day of the show are $15 for adults and $7 for children.

There will be a free showing of the circus raising the tent at 9 a.m. on May 10.

BHS Elementary Fundriaser at Wendy's May 10:
The Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School PTO will host a rewards night at Wendy's Restaurant in Bluffton Tuesday, May 10, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Wendy's will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to the PTO.

Warren Alumni Banquet May 14:
The alumni of Warren High School will hold its annual banquet at the Knight-Bergman Center in Warren May 14. All former students, teachers and friends of the Warren School can attend. The classes of 1951 and 1961 will be recognized as honored classes. All graduates from 1941 and before will also be recognized.
