Historic Charley Creek Inn in downtown Wabash will be the destination for all who would enjoy sampling luncheon in the hotel’s upscale restaurant, “Twenty,” on Thursday, June 9.
On this excursion offered by the Creative Arts Council of Wells County, guests will visit the hotel originally known as Hotel Indiana in downtown Wabash designed by Lafayette architect Charles W. Nicol and opened in 1919.
Today it houses dining areas, a wine and cheese shop, guest accommodations and a satellite gallery of the Hoosier Salon.
The menu for the “Twenty” restaurant features wraps, salads, pizza, pasta, soup and sandwiches.
The tour is open to the public with a $3 registration fee due by June 3 to reserve a space. Participants will depart from the art center parking lot at noon, returning by 4 p.m. Costs of lunch and shopping will be paid on site individually by each guest.
